Cookie Policy

This policy explains how Alawin uses cookies and similar technologies on alawin-de.us.com. We set a small number of cookies to remember your preferences and keep the site working smoothly. You control whether to accept them, and this page tells you what each one does.

How this site remembers you

A cookie is a small text file stored in your browser when you visit a site. It helps us recognise you on your next visit so we don't ask for the same information twice. We use cookies to remember your language choice, your login state, and whether you've seen our cookie banner.

Cookies fall into a few categories, and each works differently:

Category What it does Your choice
Necessary Essential for the site to function — logging in, navigating between pages, submitting forms. Always on; the site breaks without them.
Analytics Track which pages you visit and how long you stay, so we can see what works and what doesn't. Requires your consent.
Marketing Show you relevant ads on other sites based on what you looked at here. Requires your consent.
Preference Remember your settings — language, layout, region. Automatically stored once set.

Necessary cookies stay for the length of your session or up to 12 months. Analytics and marketing cookies typically last 12–24 months. Preference cookies last until you change the setting or clear your browser.

The analytics question

We use Google Analytics to understand which pages get traffic and where visitors drop off. No personal data leaves our site through these cookies — they log anonymous patterns, not names or account details. The information helps us improve navigation and spot broken links.

You can decline analytics cookies without losing access to any part of the site. The banner that appears on your first visit lets you choose which categories to accept. If you click past it without choosing, only necessary cookies are set.

Scripts we do not control

Some content on this site comes from third parties — embedded videos, social-media widgets, payment processors. Those services may set their own cookies when you interact with them, and their policies govern how they use the data. We don't see what those cookies collect, and we can't turn them off on your behalf.

If you click through to the operator's own site from a link here, that domain operates under its own cookie policy. Alawin has no access to what happens there.

Third-party services we use

  • Google Analytics — tracks page views and session duration
  • Cloudflare — manages traffic and prevents automated abuse
  • Payment widgets — embedded where we describe deposit methods

Each of these sets cookies on the domains they control. Check their own policies for detail on retention and use.

Your options

Every modern browser lets you block or delete cookies. The steps vary slightly, but the principle is the same across all of them.

Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data. Choose "Block third-party cookies" or "Block all cookies". Blocking all cookies will log you out of most sites and break forms.

Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data. Select "Delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed" or use Custom settings to block trackers.

Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Block all cookies. Safari blocks third-party cookies by default.

Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Manage and delete cookies. Choose "Block third-party cookies" or set exceptions per site.

If you block necessary cookies, you won't be able to log in or submit the contact form. Analytics and marketing cookies can be blocked with no impact on functionality.

Declining without breaking the site

The banner on your first visit asks whether you accept analytics and marketing cookies. Clicking "Reject all" leaves only the necessary ones active, and every page will still load. You can change your mind later — the banner reappears if you clear your cookies, or you can email [email protected] to reset your choice manually.

Some third-party widgets may not load if you block their cookies. Embedded payment logos, for instance, pull images from the processor's own domain. The text around them remains visible either way.

Revisions

We update this policy when we add new cookies or change how existing ones work. The date at the bottom shows when it was last revised. Significant changes — new tracking tools, different retention periods — will be announced on the homepage before they take effect.

Continued use of the site after a policy update means you accept the new terms. If you disagree with a change, contact [email protected] and we'll explain what shifted.
